Welcome to our web site. We are board-certified
ophthalmologists. An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor who specializes in eye care.
Ophthalmologists manage all aspects of eye care from routine eye examinations to
performing delicate laser and microscopic surgery. We are accomplished surgeons with over
fifteen years of clinical experience in cataract, glaucoma, cornea and oculoplastic
surgery. We provide in-office laser surgery for glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and other
retinal disorders. We are on the teaching faculty of Case Western Reserve University
School of Medicine. We are preferred providers for many insurance plans.

-
- Cataract Surgery
- A cataract is the lens of the eye that has lost its clarity. In a cataract operation,
this lens is surgically removed, and replaced with an artificial lens implant in order to
restore vision. The latest techniques in small-incision cataract surgery
with topical anesthesia are performed by
our surgeons.
- Glaucoma Management and Surgery
- Glaucoma is a potentially blinding disease. When the pressure within the eye is elevated
to such a level that results in nerve damage, vision is irretrievably lost. Glaucoma
medications, laser and surgery can control the pressure within the eye and prevent further
nerve damage. Our ophthalmologists are experienced in the detection and treatment of all
forms of glaucoma.
- In-office Laser Surgery
- Lasers are used in ophthalmology to treat glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, retinal
disorders as well as other conditions. Our offices are equipped with lasers that allow us
to treat these diseases without the need for a hospital stay.
- Treatment of Diabetic Eye Disease
- Diabetes is the #1 cause of blindness in the United States for adults under 65 years of
age. Diabetes can cause permanent retina damage, resulting in lost vision. In addition,
diabetics are more prone to cataract formation and glaucoma. Our physicians are experts in
diagnosing and treating diabetic eye disease.
- Corneal Transplantation
- Corneal transplants are performed for conditions in which the clear front surface of the
eye loses its clarity.
- Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- Surgical eyelid reconstruction is offered for cosmetic as well as medical conditions.
- Routine Eye Examinations
- Routine eye examinations are available at all three of our office locations. Our
physicians are preferred providers for many insurance plans. We welcome new patients of
every age.
- Contact Lenses
- We fit and sell contact lenses at all of our offices.
